“Our family has run this business since 1929 and has been growing with Indigo Payments since 2009.
For years lines have started at our counter queuing out the door and into the parking lot. That’s a good thing right? Well not necessarily. Taking, filling and processing orders was painfully slow. We could handle the business, what was killing us was handling each sale. When we decided to implement a point-of-sale (POS) system in 2014 to improve the checkout process and capture more valuable customer and business information we looked at all our options and ultimately chose Indigo to implement the new solution.
Indigo worked hand-in-hand with us to set-up and compile over 900 SKUs and integrate them with our other deli scale. We now have more information about each sale and our overall business activity than ever before and we are working with Indigo to implement additional features like employee time clocks and fingerprint readers to access the system. The new system will also allow us to add features like on-line ordering and customer loyalty programs when the time is right.
